Warning message occurred when installing Vivado 2022.1

 

 

 

 Introduction

 

Vivado 2022.1을 Install하는 중에 다음과 같은 Warning message가 나타났습니다.

이 경우에 문제가 없는지 확인하는 과정에서 정리된 내용을 기술합니다.

Test를 위한 PC 사용환경은 다음과 같습니다.

• OS : Windows 10 pro ( version : 21H2 )
• Vivado version : 2022.1.2

 Warning message occurred

 

 

1.

Vivado 2022.1을 Install을 하면 거의 마지막 단계에서 다음과 같은 Message window가 나타납니다.

그 내용을 보면 다음과 같습니다.

 

Warning: Xilinx software was installed successfully, but an unexpected status was returned from the following post installation task(s) The syntax of the command is incorrect.

이 경우 무시하고 진행하여도 Vivado의 사용에 문제되는 부분은 없습니다.

현재 이 문제에 대하여 Xilinx가 알고 있으며, Vivado 2022.2에서는 수정된다고 합니다.

 

This is a known issue in Vivado 2022.1 which will be fixed in the 2022.2 release. This warning will not affect the functionality of the tool, and does not result in issues while using the tool.
